Forged Kitchen Knife - Intermediate

Courses to start summer 2026 Spend the day forging your own kitchen knife from high carbon steel. You’ll start with a simple bar and learn how to move the steel with purpose, shaping the profile, setting the bevels, and dialing in the geometry so it actually cuts the way it should. We’ll walk through proper thermal cycling, hardening, and tempering, then grind, refine, and finish the blade before fitting and shaping the handle by hand. The focus is on clean lines, good heat treat, and edge performance. You’ll leave with a kitchen knife built by you, balanced in the hand and made to be used every day.
