Damascus Steel Blade - Advanced

Courses start summer 2026 Spend the day forging your own Damascus steel blade from stacked high carbon steels. You’ll learn how to prepare and weld a billet, draw it out, restack if needed, and manipulate the layers to create bold, flowing patterns in the steel. We’ll shape the blade at the forge, focus on clean geometry, and walk through proper heat treating to make sure it performs as good as it looks. After grinding and hand finishing, you’ll etch the blade to reveal the pattern you created. You’ll leave with a one of a kind Damascus blade, built by your own hands and ready to be finished into a working knife.
